Honey Rosemary Salmon

This is a low-sodium recipe that the whole family will love. Because it’s supposed to have a sweet rather than savory flavor, the missing sodium isn’t at all noticeable.

I buy my salmon at Sam’s Club. Even though it’s kind of expensive, buying it at a warehouse club makes it affordable. The slab I buy usually runs about $25.00 but is enough to feed my hungry family of four plus my mom-and gives us leftovers too. compared to a run to Chick-Fil-A it’s pretty affordable.

Sweeten up plain salmon with a delicious, low-sodium glaze.

Ingredients
  

  • non-stick cooking spray
  • 1/4 C. orange marmalade
  • 1/4 C. honey
  • 1/2 t. dry ginger
  • 1/2 t. dry rosemary (or 1 t. fresh)
  • 1 lb. salmon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Line a cookie sheet with foil. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Cut salmon into 4 pieces. (If the skin is still on the salmon, that's okay. It comes off easily after it's been baked. Just make sure the skin side is down on the pan.) Place salmon on prepared baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Mix well. Brush over salmon equally.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily all the way through.
  • This goes great with a simple side of white or brown rice and steamed broccoli. Enjoy!
