
For all the years that I’ve been cross stitching, I’ve never made anything from a kit. As I explain on this video, I chose to finally do so because we had a hurricane coming and I didn’t have time to get out and get any supplies. I wanted something to stitch in case our power went out.
Thankfully, I didn’t have that problem. The hurricane was really scary, but we escaped it’s wrath this time.
I still enjoyed stitching the kit, but found a few things I didn’t like about it.
I also talk about the true cost of framing in this video. I think that’s one of the most challenging things about being a cross stitcher (especially if you’re like me and don’t have a ton of extra money). Here’s my full review:
